To increase the opportunity to place freshwater wells and partner with our missionaries, we have moved this year’s 5k run to virtual participation only. Local participants may join us at Black Rock Road park at 10 am for the 1 mile fun walk.

Run For Wells

The ShareJOY Run is a 5K run/walk opportunity to raise funds for providing clean running water for those who do not have access to it. This year we are partnering with Pastor Romiche Bastien and his church in Segur, Haiti, to dig them a fresh water well. The cost is $7,000. As we receive sponsors and runners, we will keep you up to date on our cumulative fundraising total!

Pastor Michel Poirier of the Baptist Church of the New Beauce in Quebec, Canada, started the church in Segur along with Pastor Bastien in 2011. Since that time the church has grown to 350. Five thousand people live within a 10-minute walk of the church. Besides spiritual needs, the people of Segur have a deep physical need for clean drinking water, which this well will provide.

Please partner with us to help these missionaries as we provide a new well for the people of Segur, whom they are endeavoring to reach with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Join us the Saturday after Thanksgiving on November 26th to run for this life-changing cause.

Register today for only $30 to receive a shirt and gift bag on race day! Can't join us on race day? Let us know and we can mail your shirt and gift bag to you! Registration cut-off to receive a shirt is November 8th, so sign up today to be guaranteed this year’s shirt!
